Things are always changing in our society so it makes sense that the things we like would change along with our society. But according to the song "Internet Killed the Video Star" by The Limousines were actually favoring back to disco or the 70's. this all seems to be true though as i look around or country and my school.
I mean look around, back then they were all in to dancing now were back into dancing but a new style. I think that's what we like to do as Americans I think that we like to revisit things and reinvent them. and now we like the same sounds of the music its just that we do it with genres like rap and R&B. The Limousines state this very clearly with the main phrase of the song " The kids are disco dancing, there tired of rock and roll, don't bother telling them that drum machine ain't got no soul."
The limousines don't just say that we are going back to one genre though they also suggest that we will come back to another one eventually. " Did you hear what they said?That Rock and Roll is dead? Yeah its like a zombie it will dig it. self back up again." Saying what i have been telling you that we will come back to things and reinvent it. But no matter what we will always love doing what we always have.
