Death after Big Crash

According to the New York Times. Two buses carrying high school band members crashed into a trailer tractor cab and a pickup truck. 53 were injured, two were left dead. the GMC driver and a female student, the band members were on their way to Six Flags for their annual celebration. The accident occured at about 10:15am central time about 40 miles from st.louis. By 1pm 35 students were taken to SSM Cardinal Glenmon Children's Medical Center in St. Louis. According to jackie ferman media manager of st louis childrens hopsital, one girl had to be airlifted out of St. John's Mercy to Children's Hospital, She was in a "serious" but stable condition. I think this situation is tragic and should have been avoided if possible. i feel sad for the death of the people and the suffering of the injured.

To me this tragic event should have been avvoided at all costs. It sounds so depressing. Imagine all of the kid's parents and the sorrow they feel. Before all of the band kids went off on there six flags trip, who knew they would be severly ingured in a tragic accident.

Thats really sad. I feel bad for the students and the parents, especially of the ones who lost their daughter. There trip was a celebration and ended up hella tragic. This blog is really good, but bad at the same time. Nice job though by the way.

wow!I guess you forget how fragile life can be. That has to be to send your child to a well earned day of fun and get a call that your daughter has passed away in a car accident. My heart goes out to everyone involved, including the gmc driver's family. I hope the other student don't blame themselves for not being able to save one of their classmates. They had to hold on for themselves. Life has good and bad times, and this happened to be one of those bad times. Life is the down side of life, especially when it comes to someone so young.

I fell bad about what happened to the people. It must have been awful for the parents to find out that their kids died on their way to six flags. They all got in a horrible situation because they were celebrating. I hope the ones in the hospital survive.
