According to the New York Times, Obama granted a pool of $3.4 Billion to the best plans for the public school system. All but one winner has already been chosen. The ones chosen has the "boldest" plans. But there is also another similarity. All the states that were chosen from are from the east coast, except for Hawaii. Many states refused to be part of this program. Some people say that some schools were not chosen because they could not write a sophisticated as the others. All of the money has been distributed except for the last winner's. I think that the east coast won because they really do have the best education the school system is more stricked
