Bad Girls Club

My cultural analysis is based on The Bad Girls club. These girls think it's actually ok to be bad. The bad girls club is a group of girls picked to live in one house that believe they are all better than each other. It is a reality tv show that tapes the lives of six girls living in a mansion in Miami, Flordia. They make it seem like drinking, partying, fighting, and getting men is what the world is revolved around. Every where these girls go they get in fights. This show makes it seem like you have to be a bad girl to get through life and to have fun.

The six girls were moved into this mansion and they didn't know anyone else. They were choosen on how bad they act. You can already picture what can go on in a house full of strangers that think there better than everyone else. They have a full kitchen but it's stocked with alcohol instead of food. There is also a confessional, which is a room you can go to where you say anything you want about anything you want. The girls go to this room mainly to talk about the other girls in the house and how much drama is going on. This show has a bad messege to it but it has good entertainment if you like to watch drama occur all the time.

Many people are having fun right now and are sober. You do not need to be drinking and fighting all the time to have fun. There was a point in the show where one girl just broke down. She started screaming and breaking things because she couldn't handle the constant partying. She went to sleep while everyone else started pouring shots. The party girls were so loud that they woke her up so she started screaming at them. The way the show was shot it made her look crazy even though she was only sleep deprived. The way this show it put out there is horrible. Nobody should have to live in lies doing things just because everybody else is.

In my opinion, the bad girls club is what the media wants to portray life as a party. Being cool involves "drinking and parting every night." Why does the media not portray a good laugh with you're friend sober be as entertaining as girls drinking? The show portraying girls as crazy also is a downside on women. It makes our gender look annoying and pathetic.

That was cool, i liked your post. I've heard of the show but i never really watched it, and it kinda reminds me of jersey shore with the drama. But your right how they make them look worst than they are and they dont really show the whole thing.

Hollaaa,

First off I'd like to say I love the Bad Girls Club and that Erica and I watch it everyday after a new episode airs. The Bad Girls Club does influence bad behavior among girls. Especially teenage girls who are still growing up. They will see Brandi and Kristen acting crazy and want to be like them. The Bad Girls Club is a show exactly like Jersey Shore, all they do is go out and party. Nice post by the way.
