Navy Drone Flies to Washington!

On August 2nd, a US Navy drone, named the fire scout, entered restricted presidential airspace above the skis of Washington, D.C. Operators of the drone in Maryland, lost communication with the drone. The drone flew within 40 miles of D.C. before operators re-established a link to the drone. A Navy spokesman said that when the drones lose contact with the base, there is software to establish a new flight plan and guide the drone back to the base immediately. The Navy spokesman also stated that they were more than an hour into test flights for the Fire Scout operating out of Naval Air Base Station Patuxent River. More than half an hour after the loss of communication, operators were able to re-establish a link to the drone and safely land it back at the base.

WOW....this is actually really interesting. I'm just happy it was just a drone and someone wasn't in there. Hopefully they can get ontop of this because this could cause many problems in the future. I like your summary alot :)

Wohh!! Thats crazy. What if the drone, didnt reture and kept on flying around D.C for days. That would be even more crazy, or if the drone had a nuclear warhead attached to it. That would be all bad. Well nice post man, keep up the good work :D

Dam .. who the hell was in charge of this thing. Sure it was our own but what if it wasn't or some one else besides our navy was piloting it. I don't know if drones run on electricity or what but if they didn't get that under control before it's power ran out it could have crashed. Any way this is a great, mines nowhere close:(

I just think this is another move that the government is taking to remove president Obama from presidency. Could there possibly be a conspiracy behind it?
