The Buried Life

There is exactly one question out there in the world that many would have to think hard about or just easily answer with a few simple words. So many possibilities for just one simple question, not just one answer can be given but millions; What do you want to do before you die? This question inspired four young me on a task to for fill their lives with whatever they wanted to do. America seems to forget about the little dreams they have had and always wanted to achieve. The American dream is out there, just have to grasp hold of it. For the four young guys: Dave, Ben, Jonnie, and Duncan they believed that they should be able to live life to the fullest and make a statement to the world, live however you want to and be happy with it. Of course, they want to give out the message that giving back is the best thing you can do and makes you feel even greater about yourself and they do just that. When they go out to try to achieve their own goals they help a stranger along the way on what they want to do before they die. This gives America the message to help others and gives a good example of how life should be lived.

Living the American Dream is always in the back of our minds. What exactly is the American dream though? Well, i believe it isn't just having a white picket fence with a big house and a family with a dog. Ithink it can be anything you want it to be, whatever you want to do in life you should go for it. You shouldn't lose that drive to go for what you want because one day it'll be over and gone with before you know it. This is what the show The Buried Life is basically promoting, these guys have made a list. A list of all the things they've wanted to do, their plan is to cross verything off that list. It's basically a bucket list of a hundred things they wanted to do before they died. Yes, this will be a tough thing to do but luckily they have support behind them and are being recognized by the amazing things they are doing. The Buried Life symbolizes how we all have opportunities and should go out there and not be scared to try something new and achieve all your dreams and goals. Sadly, not all can be achieved even if you get pretty close but that's totally fine, you can always try again till you succeed. When you watch this show you get the feeling of going out there and attempting to achieve and give back to the community because its not only you, you should be focused on. America has to learn the basics of setting goals and helping others to achieve their own and that's whats important and be tought to everyone.

Anything is possible and it all depends on how much you want it. For some its actually really tough because life can get hectic so you set aside your dreams. Its easy to set aside and just forget an focus on the basics of everyday life but, is that really what you want to do? I for one say its not and it shouldn't be. America is forgetting day by day that living life isn't just about work and paying off bills. Yes, that is very important but that isn't they way you should be spending your life. Stop with the checklist of chores and start to cross off your dreams on that list. Be proud and feel accomplished on something that makes you feel personally proud. The Buried Life wants to show that anything is possible and along the way is the greatest and best feeling that could possibly happen. This show is a great example of how going for what you believe in is exceptionally great and should be achieved.

I really like this article because of what it said, "stop with the checklist of chores and start to cross of your dreams". Even though life is about responsibility, it's always nice to stop and have fun sometimes. I watched The Buried Life before and it's one of the few TV shows I actually enjoyed because it portrays what you can do with your life. Also, it shows us how to give back to people who really need help the most. Live life to its fullest.

I find the story to be really inspiring because that many people never really got to do what they really wanted to do. Apparently the 4 men have nothing else to lose and they have enough(A LOT) of money. If i ever had the chance to do this i would because that there are still many things in life that'd I want to do like for example(at the top of my head)have a summer pad where me and my friends would hang and enjoy life. Even though I'd done a lot during the summer. I would've wanted to go to places and see many things. The only problem is that in our economy we don't have the time or the money to go anywhere. Possibly the only way that you can do what you wanted to do is that you make it into a documentary like the 4 men.

Everybody can really take something from this show. I watch The Buried Life and it is really inspiring, while it has humorous moments, it also has really touching moments when they help others. I completely agree with Britney that Americans should not forget their dreams no matter how small, but still remember the people along the way.
