A Castle Rises in Arkansas

According to The New York Times, a stonecutter named Brad Fire Cloud started a new project. Brad along with 15 other volunteers and 25 other full time workers are building a castle in Ozark Medieval Fortress in northwest Arkansas. This will be a 13th Century French style castle made from limestone. They think it will take about 20 years to build, and they started on May 1 of this year. The start of the castle will be on 50 acres of land filled with oak, hickory, and cedar trees. This caslte is going to be really big with its five-foot thick walls and seven towers. One of these towers is even more than 70 feet high. However, the castle is only 6 feet tall right now but it will eventually reach 25 feet. Basically this castle is for sight-seeing. It has sword fighting and other Medeival characteristics. This will be an adventurous French Medeival 13th century style castle in Arkansas. In my opinion i think this is a good idea. It is a fun, interesting Medieval castle that allows you to learn about the Medieval times. It will be good for learning some other historical events as well.
