Bedbugs

According to New York times, bedbugs have been crawling into Chancellor hotel on union square in San Francisco since 2003. Bed bugs,a flat bodied reddish insect, live on or in peoples beds and feed off of human blood. General manager of the hotel Wes Tyler says that its not a question if, but when you will find a bedbug living in you're hotel room. First started in 2003 the hotel has created a bedbug detection program to try and seek out the bugs before the guest does. A 10$ reward has been instituted for any employee who finds one of these insects. this employee is called a "bedbug technician. When a bedbug is found in a room, all of the surrounding rooms are taken out of service for 5 days until the rooms are steam cleaned and treated with chemicals to terminate the bedbugs and any remaining eggs. The total cost to renew the rooms is 2,500$ each. The hotel manager Wes Tyler is not afraid of the bedbugs, but the damage they will do if someone gets bitten and posts something about it on the internet.

This is very disturbing, but is true. Many houses are infected with bedbugs and people get bit all the time. Although it isn't as bad as eating a spider every year, bedbugs are in a lot of peoples lives. I'm pretty sure that people shouldn't seem to mind the bedbugs. Unless if the person is a very hygenic person or has Entomophobia, it should not be a problem to anyone. This just shows how much workers care for their customers. Cleaning does not benefit them, in fact it takes from them so people should be glad that they are being treated well.
