According to the New York times, what usually seems to be just a urban legend came true on a street in New York. There have always been legends about alligators in sewers, even a movie, but you never really saw it. Except for one day in New York City there was a little crowd around a car, they were all looking underneath it where a 2 foot long alligator was sitting. Some people were trying to take pictures of the alligator, but they had to be very careful until someone came to get it from underneath the car. Where the alligator came from is still not sure, but will probably end up in a reptile sanctuary. Having alligators or crocodiles is illegal in New York without a license. Though some people will keep small alligators in apartments. Reading this article was kind of amusing, because you never really think you would see an alligator in the middle of New York City. Then again it also freaked me out a little bit, because I saw a movie when I was a little kid and an alligator came from the sewer and ate a little kid. Overall it was interesting to read about and defiantly something you don't hear everyday.

Wow! This article was really entertaining to read! Even though urban legends are just legends, it's funny to see how some come true. I think it's pretty fascinating on how people saw the alligator in the middle of the street. I wish I saw a real alligator on the street!
This has got to be the best thing i have ever heard. It gives hopes to people who believe in big-foot and aliens. I really want this to happen over here so i can be one of the idiots taking pictures instead of running for my life. this was really fun to read and u did a awesome job, keep it up:)
This was a awesome article. You made something what sounds so stupid into something interesting. The fact that their acutely alligator in New York is so weired. Then it turned up underneath a car and every one was crowded around it trying to take pictures. It just shows that people want to know if alligator sometime live in the sewers. I also was scared of alligator turning up in sewer.
This Article made me laugh. I wouldn't think an alligator could come from a sewer until I read this that I actually started to think about it. It freaks me out to think that an alligator at any time can pop up under your car. I like the fact you compared it to a movie you've seen when you were younger. It's funny knowing what we thought couldn't happen actually can!
