The Egg Scare

The New York Times have recently been worried about the health of Americans. The eggs that have getting sent out have been known to contain salmonella. Salmonella is a very dangerous bacteria. This bacteria can cause very serious abdominal pain. Once the food and drug administration found out about the eggs they put a stop to it right away. People were urged to vaccinate all of there chickens immediately to prevent further illnesses. They tracked the bad eggs back to the barns and found it in the chicken food. Soon after all the out breaks were slowing down a new egg safety rule took affect. This outbreak should never have occurred. Everyone one who owns chickens should have vaccinated their chickens before sending out there eggs.

I think it was a good thing that the chickens were found. It would be horrible if the disease caught on to all of the chickens. If it did then we might have to have kill all of our chickens. Think about how the animal rights group would feel about that? All it would bring would be choas to our country. Good job chiken trackers.

I'm glad the problem was found and taken care of. Chickens and eggs are a really important food to America. This brings up the benefits of exporting goods locally. If goods are distributed nearby and there were to be a problem like this the worry would be taken care of easily. Also local distribution is good on the Earth.
